 Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts are the duo behind one of the most exciting wineries in California today. All of their wines, from ribolla gialla to touriga nacional, take influences from both the old world and the new. They make this red wine from trousseau, a grape variety best known for powerfully savory red wines in the Jura. Here on volcanic, high-elevation vineyards on the North Coast, Arnot-Roberts crafts a trousseau that’s peppery, herbal, and bright.
