Brij Wines, Mourvèdre 'Oso Rouge' 2022

Brij is the latest project from Raj Parr, one of America’s foremost sommeliers, natural farming proponents, and winemakers. Like Raj’s releases under the Phelan Farm and Scythian labels, the focus here is on freshness and balance. This vibrant red is made from a blend of mourvedre and grenache, which are farmed organically on California’s central coast before being bottled unfiltered with no added sulfur. It’s bright and easy-drinking, without sacrificing anything in the way of depth or complexity.

Tastes like: Blueberry, black pepper, lavender, leather.
