Cerbaiona, one of the greatest estates in Tuscany, is tiny but mighty. The wines are a top-tier example of traditional Brunello, and very small production makes them highly sought after. Winemaker Diego Molinari strikes a perfect balance between the warm ripeness common in the region’s south and the structure associated with the north.
This is a window into Cerbaiona’s mastery of sangiovese. It’s ripe and structured enough to match up with rich pastas, yet fresh and spicy enough to enjoy on its own.
