Like the best wines of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino, this spicy red wine is made entirely with sangiovese. But instead of coming from Tuscany, the young and extremely talented Chiara Condello makes it in the region of Emilia-Romagna. Surrounded by olive trees, the grapes are farmed organically, yielding a bright, herbal red wine that’s rich without being sweet or overly fruity.
Tastes like: Cherry, sage, violet, roasted tomato.
How to drink: A go-to wine to have with pizza or pasta, or ideally, both.
