Until recently, Camille Thiriet made wine in a garage in Burgundy that had no electricity or running water. In other words, ‘artisanal’ didn’t really do it justice. While her production is still limited, she and her partner, Matt Chittick, have expanded their operation in the Côte de Nuits. 'La Montagne' bottling comes from one of their newly acquired vineyard plots in Corgoloin. This pinot is fresh, structured, and a bit herbal.
