Michelle Smith, who was the Wine Director at Brooklyn Fare in NYC, met David Chapel while David was working at Beaujolais’ most famous producer, Lapierre. Like Lapierre, the couple now makes organic gamay that’s savory and structured yet bright and easy-drinking.
