Domaine de Galouchey is a tiny Bordeaux project led by Marco Pelletier, Master Sommelier and owner of Vantre in Paris. They have less than one hectare of vines, yet they organically farm nine different grape varieties. This red wine incorporates them all, but like estates from nearby on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, the blend is led by merlot. Rich and savory, this is a true “Vin de Jardin” - Galouchey’s cheeky counter to the overused 'Vins de Garage' label common in Bordeaux in the ‘90s.
