From 1982 until 1998, Didier Fornerol worked under one of the legends of Burgundy, Jean-Pierre de Smet, at Domaine de L’Arlot—an important stamp on any young winemaker's resume. In 1999, he left L’Arlot to take over his family’s domaine in an area not considered to have exceptional vineyards. He has since become known for his Côtes de Nuits-Villages red and white. This bottle is a benchmark for his quality winemaking.
