Domaine Génot-Boulanger, Mercurey Premier Cru 'Les Saumonts - Cuvée Brooklyn' 2023

There may not be another producer in Burgundy that makes as many wines - both white and red - at as high a quality-level as Génot-Boulanger. Over the last decade, Guillaume Lavollée’s continuous tinkering and refining in the vines and cellar have made Génot one of the top addresses in Côte de Beaune. This bright-fruited, earthy Red Burgundy, named with a nod to their affection for Brooklyn, comes from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Saumonts in the Côte Chalonnaise.

Tastes like: Red cherry, freshly fallen leaves, sage, rose petals.
