Parcelle Wine Bar: 135 Division Street, NYC | Click here to make a reservation
Chénas is located between Julienas and Moulin-A-Vent, and like its neighbors, it produces some of the most structured and age-worthy wines in Beaujolais. The only problem is, they’re also the region’s rarest reds, and tracking down Chénas in the States is a tall task. This biodynamic, old-vine bottling from Paul-Henri Thillardon is an ideal window into this esoteric village.
Tastes like: Wild raspberry, white pepper, thyme.
How to drink: Lightly chilled with pepperoni pizza or herb-roasted chicken.
