The 7th-generation winemaking family has left its mark on Gevrey in a number of ways, but the most important thing to know is that its wines have never been better. Now helmed by Jean-Louis Trapet, the house style has moved away from extraction and oak, favoring elegance and freshness instead.
From vines located entirely within the northern village of Marsannay, this is savory, floral, and far more structured than you’d expect from a region-level bottling.
