This is benchmark Sancerre. Gérard Boulay, whose family has been growing grapes in the village of Chavignol since 1380, crafts it from old vines in the fabled vineyard of La Côte. Think about classically-styled Sancerre - freshness, minerality, wiry structure. This wine has all those characteristics, just more vivid and intense.
