Jacques Puffeney, 'Cuvée M' Poulsard Arbois 2014

Locals call Jacques Puffeney's “the Pope of Arbois”, and if ‘Natural wine’ had a church, Puffeney would no doubt be its head. The reds are light and earthy and made with pinot noir as well as poulsard and trousseau– two grapes unique to the area.

Puffeney’s poulsard is a little juicier, with flavors of wild raspberries, peonies, and blood orange. It’s a good next step for lovers of pinot and Beaujolais.
