Jean-Claude Bachelet is a historic property in Saint-Aubin, but its wines have only joined the region’s elite in in the last decade. That’s thanks to brothers Jean-Baptiste and Benoît Bachelet, who’ve implemented biodynamics and minimized oak in order to pursue a style focused on freshness and precision. Their Bourgogne Rouge is made with grapes from around Chassagne-Montrachet, and offers fantastic value for the price.

Tastes like: Wild raspberry, roses, leather.
