Jérôme Bretaudeau is redefining Muscadet. His old-vine, organic wines are the region’s most pure, focused, and just plain best. Because the perception of Muscadet is still tied to simple (and cheap) whites, the prices of Bretaudeau’s wines lag way behind their quality.

Skin-contact pinot gris and amphora-aged chardonnay are rarities in Muscadet, to say the least. Constantly experimenting and innovating, Bretaudeau found a way to nail it with both. These are aromatic and complex, but still crisp and easy-drinking. Quantities of each are very limited.
