Before launching his own winery in 2010, Julian Haart studied under Klaus Peter Keller and Egon Müller. For reference, that’s like bouncing between guitar lessons with Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Now on his own in the Mosel region of Germany, Julian makes this dry riesling from the Grand Cru vineyard of Goldtröpfchen. It’s sharp, mineral-driven, and highly refreshing.
Tastes like: Green apple, lime zest, honeysuckle, smoke.
How to drink: Cold with crudo or your go-to spicy Thai dish.
