While Las Jaras has a celebrity co-founder in Eric Wareheim, this California-based natural producer is truly passionate about quality winemaking. That’s clear from Las Jaras’ commitment to organic farming, winemaker Joel Burt’s use of experimental blends and esoteric grape varieties, and most importantly, the quality of their wines.
As the name would suggest, the ‘Amphora’ is exceptionally bright and easy-drinking. That’s in no way a knock on this wine - we say the same thing about our favorite chilled reds like Beaujolais and frappato. You’re going to want plenty of this on-hand for BBQs and pizza nights all summer long.
