Here's the short of it: this is a bright, peppery red wine that's absolutely ideal for summer.
Here's the slightly longer version: it's a field blend of grape varieties native to the cool Spanish region of Galicia. There on steep, windswept hillsides, Luis Rodríguez crafts some of the best and most singular wines in all of Spain. He makes this lithe red from organic grapes like brancellao, caiño redondo, caiño longo, and ferrol. The result is a savory, spicy red that'll be in the wheelhouse of anyone who enjoys Rhone syrah, Spanish mencia, or top-end Beaujolais.
