Marina Coppi, Barbera 'Sant'Andrea' 2020

This aromatic, bright-fruited barbera comes from the small Piemontese village of Castellania. It was the hometown of Marina Coppi’s father - one of the greatest cyclists of all time - and it’s now where Marina’s son, Francesco, hand-crafts small quantities of wine from native grape varieties. His barbera is round, juicy, and exceptionally food-friendly.

Tastes like: Red cherry, thyme, white pepper.

How to drink: Lightly chilled with charcuterie, roast chicken, or skirt steak.
