Arianna Occhipinti is Sicily’s most exciting winemaker. Her wines are lively and nuanced, like Burgundy with a natural, slightly rustic side. Nero d’avola, Sicily’s most popular red variety, can be tannic and harsh, but Arianna’s is smooth and earthy.
