Pierre-Vincent Girardin is only 26 years-old. But considering he’s the 13th generation of his family to make wine in Burgundy, and he’s been roaming the estate’s cellars since he was five, it’s safe to assume he’s wise beyond his years. Since taking the reins in 2017, he has become one of the region’s rising stars. He makes the ‘Eclat de Calcaire’ with organic grapes from Meursault and Volnay, minimizing the use of new oak in order to let the top-class vineyard sites shine through.

Tastes like: White peach, smoke, thyme, sea salt.
How to drink: Not too cold with roast chicken or grilled fish.
