In the hills of Tuscany, a short walk from the iconic Montevertine winery in Radda, Piero Lanza crafts soulful, elegant sangiovese. ‘Bugialla’ comes from his oldest vines, and is aged for nearly three years prior to release. Deeply savory yet bright and high-toned, this is old-school sangiovese at its balanced best.
Tastes like: Black cherry, tobacco leaf, leather, cinnamon.
How to drink: Decant and enjoy with steak or hearty red sauce dishes.
