This dry white wine is made from a grape called Mataòssu, which isn’t grown outside of Liguria, let alone outside of the Punta Crena vineyards. Like most coastal Italian white wines, it’s refreshing and salty thanks to constant sea-breezes from the Mediterranean. This wine is from grapes grown on 90+ year old vines overlooking the Italian Riviera. That’s not a bad place to be for humans, it’s a great place to be for grapes. You’ll like this wine if you’ve enjoyed Chablis, sauvignon blanc, or grüner veltliner.
Tastes like: Lemons, peaches, and white flowers (honeysuckle for the gardening enthusiasts).
How to drink: Drink it extra cold alongside simply prepared seafood or any dish involving pesto or salsa verde.
