There are some Burgundy producers we would recommend to everyone - Dujac, Roumier, etc - if not for the price-tags. Chevillon is one of the rare few that we do recommend to everyone. The wines are age-worthy and elegant enough to be cellar-staples for collectors, and somehow, under-the-radar enough to offer serious value for the price. Nuits-Saint-Georges doesn’t have any grand crus, but as today’s wine makes clear, its premier crus in the hands of Chevillon can possess similar energy and depth.
