Walking distance from the Slovenian border in a cool, windy valley in Friuli, the Rapuzzi family farms esoteric, hyper-local grape varieties to make expressive, notably long-lived wines. Ivan and Pierpaolo Rapuzzi craft this richly textured, smoky white wine from a blend of verduzzo, ribolla gialla, and picolit.
