Skin-contact chasselas from the mountains of central Spain. It sounds… strange. But in the hands of Rubén Díaz, the result is a delicate orange wine that’s more mineral-driven and refreshing than funky. Díaz has been a quality pioneer of Gredos, the rugged area west of Madrid, for the last 20 years. He only makes 200 cases of this chasselas, a high-acid grape variety typically reserved for the alpine slopes of Switzerland.
Tastes like: Apricot, orange zest, sea salt.
How to drink: Cold with curry, falafel, or a big cheese board.
Ships from: New York, NY, USA
