Sierra de Gredos is arguably the most exciting red wine region in Spain today. Rubén Díaz is a big reason why. For the last 20 years, he has been at the forefront of Gredos’ quality revolution, crafting organic garnacha from old vines in the mountains west of Madrid. He only makes 240 cases of this deep, herbal red each year.
Tastes like: Plum, blood orange, black pepper, leather.
How to drink: Alongside braised meats, BBQ, or hearty pastas.
