Thibaud Boudignon, Anjou Blanc 2022

There are very few wines better suited to spring and summer drinking than this chenin blanc. That’s not at all to say it’s simple. Thibaud Boudignon is one of the Loire’s most exciting winemakers, and his Anjou Blanc is textured like whites twice its price. The wine just has this soft fruit and intensely salty character that’s perfectly suited to the warm months ahead. Our yearly allotment arrived today - stock up while you can.

Here's what you should know about it:
  • After working in Bordeaux and Burgundy, Thibaud Boudignon (boo-dee-nyawn) launched his own winery in the Loire in 2009.
  • He makes this white wine from chenin blanc in Anjou. Farming is organic and biodynamic.
  • You’ll enjoy the salty, textured style if you’re a fan of producers like Bernaudeau, Guiberteau, and Bonnezeaux.
