Romain Guiberteau sits at the very top of the quality hierarchy in the Loire Valley. Like his collectible reds, he makes this rosé from cabernet franc, which he farms organically in the limestone soils of Saumur. It’s crisp and floral, with cab franc’s signature herbaceousness on display.
Tastes like: Red cherry, lilac, sage, bell pepper.
How to drink: With a caprese salad, margherita pizza, or any other dish involving fresh basil.
