The Hubert Lignier wines from Romain Lignier are some of Burgundy’s all-time greats. His last vintage before tragically passing away was 2004, and the winery experienced a few up-and-down years thereafter. Recent vintages, however, are very much back on track, and Lignier has reclaimed its place among Burgundy’s best.
‘Trilogie’ is sourced from three plots of very old vines, including the Premier Cru ‘Clos Solon’. It’s an ideal window into Lignier’s classic deep, concentrated style.
