Arianna Occhipinti is Sicily’s most exciting winemaker. Using only native grape varieties, Arianna makes wines that are lively and nuanced, like Barolo or Burgundy with a natural, slightly rustic side. Her wines are constantly evolving and endlessly compelling.

The list of serious, world-class Italian white wines is short. This grillo is on it. It’s the second ever release of this bottling, which comes from a high-altitude vineyard surrounded by ancient olive trees. The cool, windy conditions keep the wine bright and fresh, while a touch of skin contact and a heavy dose of sunshine add aromatics and depth.
