Arianna Occhipinti makes a miniscule amount of this dessert wine from nero d’avola, Sicily's most planted grape variety. She dries the grapes in the sun for 15 days to concentrate the sugars and flavors. The resulting ‘passito’ style wine is spicy and rich, an ideal after-dinner drink.
