Poggio di Sotto is one of our favorite producers in Tuscany. They farm cool, hilltop vineyards in Montalcino to make sangiovese that’s elegant and aromatic, more like Burgundy than most Brunello. Deeply savory yet fresh and floral, this wine showcases Poggio’s classic style. It comes from the same vineyards as their Brunello, but it’s just not aged quite as long, and is ready to drink now.
