The Lelarge family has been making wine in Champagne since before the French revolution. Today, Dominique Lelarge and his wife Dominique Pugeot, farm organic and biodynamic vineyards in the cool region of Montagne de Reims. They focus on pinot meunier, a grape that yields a textured, savory, mineral-driven style of Champagne.
