Chacra wines come from a little-known place for winemaking: northern Patagonia in Argentina. The people it comes from, however, are as well-known as it gets: Jean-Marc Roulot and Piero Incisa (the producer of Sassicaia). Together, they’re making our favorite chardonnay on this side of the Atlantic. Mainqé, which is named after the village in which Chacra is located, is rich and textured, yet vibrant and mineral-driven.Tastes like: Apricot, sea salt, white pepper, light cream. How to drink: Not too cold, alongside roast chicken, sushi, or richer course
Come to our wine bar to try this one. Sorry, this is not available for retail.
