Wine School - Session #19: Red Burgundy for everyone
Burgundy is a place where anyone who has good taste in anything will eventually end up. Pinot Noir, the red grape, and Chardonnay, the white grape of Burgundy have been planted all over the world in an effort to try and replicate the elegant, earthy, and always easy to drink versions of those grapes from Burgundy. Only a couple of places have come close. All these heartfelt words really are just to say that Burgundy is great and we should all try to drink more it. The issue is that it’s a small area and the prices are climbing every year as people are rightfully catching on. All it takes is one Instagram post or a good piece of press and all of a sudden a wine which was ordinary is now highly collectible and allocated. It’s a bitch.
